Yesterday I took some time out to meet a fellow local artist and she inspired me to connect to an artist called India Flint ....... she uses all sorts of natural materials and found materials to make responses to the environment

In the beginning

The launch date of the 8th April draws near and there are so many ideas emerging I have to keep focused.  It is very exciting to be starting on this new adventure.

'Bags of Potential' is an artist led space/shop selling works/participatory projects that come from 'something' and 'nothing'.  Works will be made from fragments, the discarded, the unloved.  Random collections of materials created into unknown forms.  Some works resemble flowers to wear, display around the home, place on hats, bags or framed.

Guest artists will be invited from time to time to take part and make responses to the idea of 'Bags of Potential'.

The intention with this space is to inspire creativity and curiosity.  Engaging with the world of materials and 'stuff' out there.  Thinking about things in new ways.
